Doo Wop Back to the '50s Neon Night Tours (July 4)
Tour leaves from the front of the Doo Wop Experience Museum, 4500 Ocean Avenue in Wildwood, every Tuesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. during the summer season. The Wildwoods are home to the highest concentration of mid-century doo wop architecture in the country! Riders can relive the exciting 1950's and 1960's in the Wildwoods-by-the-Sea. See the best of the Wildwoods' doo wop style landmarks while a knowledgeable guide in fifties attire recounts the popular culture of the era.
Fourth of July Beach 'n Boardwalk Patriotic Run/Walk (July 4)
9 a.m. - 11 a.m. The 5K Fun Run will begin at the Wildwoods Sign and travel North to the Wildwoods Convention Center and then down the boardwalk extension to the beach. The route will run South and continue on the hard packed sand to Primrose Avenue in Wildwood Crest, looping back to the Wildwoods Convention Center for the completion of the race. The 1 Mile Walk will go down the Wildwoods Boardwalk to Cresse Avenue and back to the Wildwoods Convention Center. Awards for Top Finishers and Most Patriotic Dressed in Family, Adult, Child and Baby. All funds raised from this event will be used to help maintain the Wildwoods Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Registration will take place from 7 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. at the Wildwoods Convention Center.
Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular (July 4)
On the Beach at Pine Avenue, Wildwood. Special holiday fireworks extravaganza sponsored by the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA). 10 p.m. Free. Visible from almost anywhere in the Wildwoods!
Fourth of July Patriotic Show (July 4)
Fern Road and Ocean Avenue, Wildwood Crest. 7:30 p.m. FREE live music for the entire family at the Centennial Park Entertainment Pavillion, featuring the Manhattan Dolls. All ages show. Bring a blanket or beach chair.
Independence Day Parade (July 4)
Check in from 8 – 8:45 a.m. at 9th & Atlantic Avenues, North Wildwood. Parade begins at 9 a.m. at 9th and Atlantic Avenues, North Wildwood and proceeds north to 1st & Surf Avenue, North Wildwood. Prizes awarded for the best decorated bikes in red, white and blue theme. FREE. Registration begins June 16th.
Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band FREE Summer Concert! (July 4)
"Changes in Latitudes" - a Jimmy Buffett tribute band - will perform at Fox Park in Wildwood at 6 p.m. Sponsored by the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA). Bring your own blanket or beach chair and prepare for some great family fun!
Philadelphia Mummers Parade Performances (July 4)
Performances vary between t two string bands on the Wildwoods Boardwalk. 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Wildwood Talent Showcase Monday through Friday (July 4, 5, 6 and 7)
Schellenger Beach Stage at Schellenger Avenue and the Boardwalk, Wildwood. 7 p.m. Dancers ages 6 - 18 perform.
Cape May County Lifeguard Championships (July 5)
On the beach at Rambler Road, Wildwood Crest. 6 p.m. Beach patrols from Cape May County compete Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol.
Fireworks on the Beach (weekends since june 28 to august 30)
Summer fireworks extravaganza on the beach at Pine Avenue in Wildwood, every Friday night! Visible from almost anywhere in the Wildwoods! 10 p.m.
Sports Card, Toys, Comics and Collectibles Show (July 5, 6 and 7)
Wildwoods Convention Center. Collectibles, memorabilia and guest star appearances. Over 100 tables of the hottest collectibles on the planet! Sports cards, old & new, sets, autographed memorobilia, posters, supplies, toys, coins, beanie babies, comics, jerseys, videos and much more!
WWE Live (July 5)
WWE is returning to the Wildwoods! Come see your favorite WWE SUPERSTARS in action at the Wildwoods Convention Center's Oceanfront Arena.
Boardwalk Craft Shows (July 6 and 7)
The Boardwalk at Rio Grande Avenue. All handmade products. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Daily. Free.
Concerts under the Stars Series (July 6)

Historic House Tours of the J Thompson Baker House (July 6)

North Wildwood Concerts under the Stars Series (July 6)

Sidewalk Chalk Competition (July 6)
8th Street field, 8th & Central Avenue, North Wildwood. Chalk drawing competition begins at 9 a.m. Register the day of the event. Judging begins at 10:15 a.m. All ages welcome to participate. Prizes will be awarded. FREE.
